The Park

Yıldız Park is a 46-hectare forested hillside park that served as the private gardens of Yıldız Palace. Sultan Abdülhamid II ruled the Ottoman Empire from here for 33 years (1876-1909). What to See

The Malta Köşk (Malta Pavilion) and Çadır Köşk (Tent Pavilion) are charming cafés in restored imperial pavilions. Yıldız Palace's Sale Köşk (the main ceremonial pavilion) can be visited with a guide. The park has scenic viewpoints over the Bosphorus through gaps in the trees.

Park open daily 9:00-19:00 (extended in summer). Free entry to the park. Sale Köşk ticket approximately 60 TL. Located above Beşiktaş and Çırağan Palace. Enter from multiple gates — the Beşiktaş entrance is most convenient.
