Overview

Founded in 1891, the Istanbul Archaeology Museums complex comprises three museums: the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of the Ancient Orient, and the Tiled Kiosk Museum. Together they house over one million artifacts from Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman civilizations.

Open Tuesday–Sunday 9:00–19:00 (winter until 17:00). Ticket: approximately 200 TL. Located in the First Courtyard of Topkapı Palace in Sultanahmet. The museum is covered by the Museum Pass Istanbul.
