Bebek is one of Istanbul's most affluent and picturesque Bosphorus-side neighborhoods. The crescent-shaped bay offers a natural harbor with yachts bobbing in turquoise waters. The waterfront promenade stretches from Bebek to Rumeli Hisarı, passing through stunning scenery.

Walk the waterfront promenade for Bosphorus views, stop at Bebek Kahvesi for Turkey's best-known coffee, browse the upscale boutiques, and sit by the water watching ferries and yachts pass. The walk from Bebek to Rumeli Hisarı (Fortress) along the Bosphorus is one of Istanbul's most beautiful.
Getting There
Bus from Taksim or Beşiktaş to Bebek. Or walk along the Bosphorus from Ortaköy (about 30 minutes, beautiful route). The area is best combined with Rumeli Fortress and Emirgan Park.
